Rick Dryer
Creator of the Right Place Right Time Real Estate Investment Strategies™, Entrepreneur, Speaker

Rick Dryer is the creator of and speaker on the popular and instructive Right Place Right Time Real Estate Investment Strategies™ seminars that has drawn tens of thousands to venues from LA, San Diego, and San Francisco to Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington DC.

Rick’s work distills down the vagaries of the real estate world to the 18 principles he feels experienced and novice real estate owners should consider when judging whether or not a real estate purchase makes sense. Rick has had long experience in real estate, and he and his companies have been involved in hundreds of real estate purchases and sales. His simple to understand principles cut to the heart of how real estate really works, and how potential real estate owners should focus their research and efforts. Some consider his work in creating the Right Place Right Time Real Estate Investment Strategies™ the seminal syllabus on making sense of real estate in the 21st century.

Rick has waxed and waned in his real estate focus for more than thirty years, as his enterprises demanded, but has always been involved even as he pursued other than real estate interests. As a very young man, he spearheaded the successful bid for the largest government leaseback in the history of the country. He has been involved in subdivision development in several states, and has been a partner in land development, apartment development, condo conversions and many other aspects of the real estate world.

In recent years, as he refocused on real estate, Mr. Dryer became more and more convinced that the purchase of individual homes, whether attached or detached, and renting them for the potential of long term appreciation and cash flow was something that many should consider for their long term prosperity. As he brought his “Right Place Right Time™” theories to the public forum of discourse, his following has grown by leaps and bounds.

Like his friend and colleague Dr. Gary Eldred, Rick believes in a buy and hold strategy, reasonably leveraged, in emerging growth areas of the country. His pinpointed principles targeting a “layering of probabilities” rather than get rich quick schemes, resonates with more and more readers, viewers, and attendees of his Right Place body of work, including now, these Dialogues with Professor Eldred.
